The NEP Cell of Aggarwal College Ballabgarh, organized a sensitization program on the National Education Policy (NEP) for the first-year students on September 10, 2026 under the able guidance of Chairman (Aggarwal Vidya Prachirni Sabha) Sh. Devender Kumar Gupta and in the supervision of Dr. Priyanka Sehrawat, Convener, NEP Cell & Head, Dept. of Chemistry. The program aimed to acquaint the students with the salient features and objectives of the new educational policy under the topic National Education Policy 2020: Transforming Education in India. The Expert speaker for the event was Dr. Priyanka Sehrawat, Convener of the NEP Cell, who shed light on the importance of the NEP in transforming the education landscape of the country. The lecture aimed to deepen students understanding of the NEP 2020, which is poised to transform India's education landscape. She highlighted the key aspects of the NEP 2020, including its focus on holistic education, vocational training, and the integration of technology in classrooms. She told the students about the concept of multiple entry and exits under NEP 2020. She also gave insights into Major, Minor and MDC subjects and the eligibility to opt them under NEP 2020, she also introduced the (National Curriculum Framework) NCrF term which will now be used to designate the class of UG students.
