On World Book Day, a grand event was held at Lala Ratan Singh Gupta Memorial Library.

At Aggarwal College Ballabhgarh, World Book Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on April 23, 2026. The program was organized by the college library. In this program, students, teachers, and staff actively participated. The main objective was to promote the culture of reading and learning among students and teachers. On this occasion, a special program was organized to emphasize the importance of books and to promote the culture of reading. On behalf of the President of Agrawal College Ballabhgarh, Mr. Devendra Kumar Gupta, General Secretary Mr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, and Principal Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, heartfelt wishes for World Book Day to all students, teachers, and book lovers. Mr. Devendra Kumar Gupta said that books are the true friends of humans as they provide knowledge and values. Mr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, referring to Lala Ratan Singh Gupta, urged the students to make proper use of the library. On this occasion, a book exhibition was organized in the library, in which old books, new books, and books written by the faculty were displayed.

Students shared reviews of their favorite books in the 'Book Talk' session. Principal Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta said in his address that books are a person’s best friends. Even in the digital era, the place of books is supreme. The younger generation should connect with books along with mobiles and the internet, because books provide true knowledge and values. He appealed to students to read other literature besides textbooks. Everyone described the event as informative and inspiring. World Book Day is celebrated every year on April 23 to promote reading, publishing, and copyright. At the end of the program, the library head Dr. Ram Chandra expressed his gratitude to all the guests and participants. Along with this, the college principal extended heartfelt wishes for World Book Day to all the students, teachers, and bookstore staff.
