Organized By: NSS Cell, Aggarwal College Ballabgarh (Units I, II & III) On 29 April 2026, NSS Cell of Aggarwal College Ballabgarh successfully organized an awareness session on “Nari Suraksha – Self-Défense & Empowerment Session.” The session aimed to equip girl students with essential self-defense skills and create awareness about personal safety in both physical and digital environments. The highlight of the event was an engaging and practical self-defense training session conducted by Ms. Sunita, SHO Ballabgarh and her team who demonstrated various techniques to handle real- life situations. They guided students on how to stay alert, react confidently, and protect themselves during emergencies.

The session included live demonstrations, interactive participation, and situational awareness training, making it highly impactful and informative. In addition to physical self-defense, the speakers also created awareness about cybercrime, emphasizing safe use of social media, protection of personal information, and ways to report online harassment and fraud. Students were educated about important emergency services, including how and when to contact the ambulance (medical emergencies) and fire brigade (fire hazards), ensuring preparedness in critical situations. Students actively participated and learned simple yet effective self- defense moves, boosting their confidence and sense of security.
