On 20-04-2026, at Agriyal College, Ballabhgarh, the Sanskrit Department and the Sanskrit Literary Council organized a Quiz Competition. To connect students with Indian Sanskrit culture and glorious heritage, a grand 'Sanskrit Knowledge Competition' was conducted under the guidance of President Mr. Devendra Gupta, Trustee Mr. Kdanesh Kumar Gupta, Executive Principal Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, and other skilled mentors. The main subjects of this competition were the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. The quiz competition was divided into three main rounds: Ramayana Round: Questions related to the life and ideals of Lord Rama were asked. Mahabharata Round: Questions were based on the Kurukshetra war and political strategies.
Gita Message Round: A session focused on life management and the teachings of Lord Krishna. Teams from various faculties (BA, B.Sc, B.Com) participated in the competition. This event generated great enthusiasm among the students. The students felt that such competitions provide them with an opportunity to understand their roots and learn the profound aspects of ancient texts. The quiz competition was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Pooja Saini, Head of the Sanskrit Department. In this competition, Team-3 (Neekita, Tavanya, Sheetal, Neha, Anvshika, Rani) secured the first position. A total of 36 students benefited from this competition. Principal Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta stated that in the modern era, bookish knowledge alone is not sufficient for students; rather, the ideals of the Ramayana, the principles of Mahabharata, and the selfless Karma Yoga of the Gita are essential for character development.
