National Sports Day Celebrated at Aggarwal College, Ballabhgarh Today, on 29th August 2026, National Sports Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and excitement at the campus of Aggarwal College, Ballabhgarh, on the occasion of Major Dhyan Chand's birthday, who is known as the wizard of hockey. On this occasion, 100 and 400 meters races for both men and women were organized, and tribute was paid by garlanding Major Dhyan Chand's photograph. A documentary based on his life was also shown. As part of the Sports Day events, a cycling competition will be held on 30th August. The principal of the college, Mr. Devendra Kumar Gupta, and Secretary Advocate Mr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta mentioned that the purpose of such events is to raise awareness among students about sportsmanship, discipline, health and physical fitness, and to keep them away from the habit of addiction.
