Aggarwal College Ballabgarh

Aryabhatta Club of Aggarwal College Ballabgarh, celebrated "Pi Day" with great enthusiasm on March 14, 2026, under the able guidance of Sh. Devender Kumar Gupta (President, Aggarwal College Governing Body), Sh. Dinesh Gupta (General Secretary, Aggarwal College Governing Body), and Acting Principal Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta. In order to celebrate Pi Day, two exciting events were organized for students to engage with mathematics in a creative and interactive manner: "Slogan Writing Competition" and "Online Quiz Competition".

Participants showcased their creativity and mathematical flair in Slogan Writing Competition, bringing out the essence of Pi Day. The competition was judged by Dr. Inayat, Assistant Professor, Department of English. Khushi from B.Sc (H) Maths 2nd year secured 1st, Priyanshi from B.Sc (H) Maths 1st year bagged 2nd, and Himashi from B.Sc (H) Maths 1st year got 3rd position.

Online Quiz Competition tested students' knowledge of mathematics and its applications. Deepender from B.Sc (H) Maths 3rd year secured 1st, Manisha from B.Sc (H) Maths 1st year bagged 2nd, and Boby from B.Sc (H) Maths 1st year got 3rd position. A total of 42 students participated in these activities.

Acting Principal Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta appreciated the efforts of the Department of Mathematics in organizing the events, stating that they promote mathematical awareness and enthusiasm among students. Dr. Priya Arora, Head of the Mathematics Department, encouraged students to participate in such events, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and learning. The event was successfully organized with the support of members of Aryabhatta Club.
