“The Future of E-Commerce and Omni-Channel Retail” Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh, organized a special guest lecture today, on February 16, 2026, under the Department of Retail Management on the theme “The Future of E-Commerce and Omni-Channel Retail.” The primary objective was to acquaint students with modern trends and technological advancements in the retail sector.

Such lectures are organized periodically under the visionary guidance of the College Management Committee, including Chairman Shri Devender Gupta Ji and Secretary Shri Dinesh Gupta Ji, for the holistic development of students. The entire event was conducted under the able guidance of the College Principal, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta.

The program was formally inaugurated by Dr. Poonam Rautela (HOD, Retail Department) and Ms. Sapna Karaiya Tanwar (Assistant Professor, Economics Department). In her welcome address, Dr. Poonam Rautela introduced the keynote speaker and emphasized the importance of guiding students toward meaningful career paths. She stressed that understanding the current industry scenario alongside academic knowledge is vital for the students’ future.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Ritu Mudgal (Skill Assistant Professor, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Dudhola, Palwal), discussed the changing landscape of e-commerce. She explained that Customer Experience is paramount and the integration of online and offline channels are the key to success. Dr. Mudgal highlighted the roles of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, and Quick Commerce in shaping the industry. She illustrated how companies synchronize websites, mobile apps, and physical stores through Omni-channel strategies.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A where students asked insightful questions about employment opportunities, logistics, and data security. The lecture provided students with a fresh perspective on future business challenges.
