A slogan writing competition for AIDS awareness was organized today, December 12, 2025, by the Red Ribbon Unit of Aggarwal College, Ballabhgarh, as part of the World AIDS Day campaign.
Under the guidance of Mr. Devendra Gupta, President of the Agrawal Pavdya Pracharani Sabha and President of Agrawal College, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Secretary of Agrawal College, and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Principal of the College, along with Dr. Sachin Garg, in charge of Pavang 1, various activities are regularly organized in the college. In this sequence, the World AIDS Awareness Program was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The main participation in this program came from the students of the Red Ribbon Club (RRC).
The purpose of this event was to promote HIV/AIDS awareness and creativity among students. Students participated in slogan writing competitions and awareness campaigns about AIDS by going door to door. They expressed their creativity through art, which included designs and concepts related to HIV/AIDS.
In the slogan writing competition, Papriya (B.Sc First Class, Mathematics Honours) secured the first position, Diya (B.Com Second Class) secured the second position, Kartik (BCA Second Class) secured the third position, and consolation prize was awarded to Kalpana (BCA Second Class). The program was presided over by Dr. Sanchan Garg, and Mrs. Neha Goyal (Head of the Department of Mathematics) played an important role as a judge. About 26 volunteers of RRC participated in this event. All units of the college's Red Ribbon Club regularly organize various awareness programs throughout the session. Dr. Renubala, the coordinator of the college's Red Ribbon Club, along with coordinator Shri Lavkesh and Ms. Neelam Sharma, played a significant role in making this event successful.
