Aggarwal College successfully organized an informative and engaging NCC Workshop with the objective of instilling discipline, leadership qualities, and a strong sense of patriotism among students. The programme brought together NCC cadets and aspiring students from various streams to understand the vision, values, and training framework of the National Cadet Corps.
The workshop commenced with an overview of the history, objectives, and organizational structure of NCC. This was followed by practical demonstrations including drill formations, physical training routines, and leadership-building exercises. NCC officers explained the ranking system, responsibilities of cadets, and the role of NCC in national and civic duties.
An interactive question-and-answer session provided students with clarity regarding enrollment procedures, certification benefits, and opportunities such as national camps, Republic Day Parade participation, and pathways into defense and uniformed services.
A major highlight of the workshop was the live demonstration of rescue operations and first-aid techniques, showcasing the vital role played by NCC cadets during emergencies and disaster management situations. These demonstrations emphasized preparedness, teamwork, and quick decision-making.
Motivational addresses encouraged students to adopt discipline, punctuality, leadership, and service to the nation as core values. The workshop concluded with a pledge ceremony, where participants reaffirmed their commitment to the NCC motto “Unity and Discipline.”
The NCC Workshop left a lasting impression on the participants, inspiring many students to enroll in NCC and actively contribute to nation-building and social responsibility initiatives.
