Health Talk on Cervical Cancer Awareness and Vaccination Held at Aggarwal College Ballabgarh Health Awareness Club and Youth Red Cross and Red Ribbon Club of Aggarwal College Ballabgarh in collaboration with Sudha Rastogi College of Dental Sciences and Research and Rotary Club of Faridabad organized a health talk on cervical cancer awareness and vaccination for its students. The talk was organised under the able guidance of President Sh. Davinder Gupta and General Secretary Sh. Dinesh Gupta. The informative session was delivered by Dr. Garima Gupta, Medical Director, Sudha Rastogi Hospital of Dental Sciences and Research, Faridabad. The health talk aimed to educate students about the importance of cervical cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. Dr. Gupta emphasized the significance of vaccination against Human Papillomavirus (HPV), which is a primary cause of cervical cancer. During the session, Dr. Gupta discussed the risk factors, symptoms, and screening methods for cervical cancer. She also addressed common myths and misconceptions surrounding the disease and its vaccination. The students actively participated in the session, asking questions and seeking clarification on various aspects of cervical cancer and its prevention. Dr. Gupta provided valuable insights and guidance, encouraging the students to prioritize their health and well-being. The health talk was well-received by the students, who appreciated the informative and interactive session. The college administration expressed its gratitude to Dr. Gupta for sharing her expertise and promoting health awareness among the students. The health awareness talk is a part of large scale vaccination drive that will take place at Aggarwal College Ballabgarh. The cervical cancer vaccination doses will be provided free of cost by Rotary Club Faridabad for the students.
