First Aid YRC Training

First Aid Training - YRC

Organized by Aggarwal College

Aggarwal College's Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit conducted an impactful First Aid Training program aimed at empowering students with essential life-saving techniques. The main objective was to enable young individuals to respond effectively in emergencies until professional medical help is available.

The session covered a wide range of first aid skills including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), treatment of burns and cuts, stopping bleeding, and dealing with unconscious individuals. Students also learned how to manage fractures, fainting episodes, and other minor injuries that may occur during daily activities or events.

Demonstrations were held with medical kits and dummies. Students were guided through every step — from assessing a victim's condition to calling for help, ensuring safety, and administering correct first aid measures. The training emphasized calm thinking and confidence while taking action in pressure situations.

In addition to practical skills, participants were educated about assembling a proper first aid box and the importance of keeping emergency numbers accessible. The YRC unit also encouraged students to become first responders in their homes, communities, and during college events.

Students were deeply engaged and showed high enthusiasm. The session ended with an awareness pledge to spread basic first aid knowledge and be ready to assist anyone in need. This program empowered students not just physically, but also mentally to act with responsibility during emergencies.
