First Aid Training Program

Organized by Aggarwal College

Aggarwal College organized a comprehensive First Aid Training Program with the objective of equipping students with essential life-saving skills. The initiative aimed to build confidence among students to respond effectively during medical emergencies before professional assistance arrives.

The training session covered critical first-aid techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), management of minor cuts and burns, handling fractures, controlling bleeding, managing choking incidents, and assisting unconscious patients.

Emphasis was placed on understanding how to assess emergency situations, prioritize actions, and seek timely medical help. Students were guided on remaining calm and composed while responding to high-pressure emergency scenarios.

A hands-on practical demonstration formed a key component of the training. Using mannequins and first-aid kits, students practiced bandaging techniques, placing patients in the recovery position, and simulating real-life emergency situations. This practical exposure significantly enhanced their confidence and preparedness.

The importance of maintaining a well-equipped first aid box at home, educational institutions, and in vehicles was also highlighted. Participants were informed about essential first-aid items that should be readily available to manage emergencies effectively.

The program concluded with a collective pledge by students to assist others during emergencies and to spread awareness about first-aid knowledge within society. The event successfully fostered a sense of responsibility, awareness, and readiness among the youth.
