“Ek Tiranga” is not merely a patriotic slogan; it is a powerful symbol of unity, identity, and the collective spirit of our great nation. With this vision, Aggarwal College organized a meaningful Ek Tiranga Program to promote national pride, awareness, and social responsibility among students.
The program commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the Indian National Flag by the respected Principal, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The campus reflected the essence of patriotism with decorations inspired by the saffron, white, and green colors of the national tricolor.
A large number of students participated enthusiastically, waving flags and chanting patriotic slogans. One of the most impactful moments of the program was the Unity March, where students from different disciplines walked together, carrying an extended Tiranga prepared by NSS volunteers, symbolizing harmony and togetherness.
The event also featured several cultural and creative activities, including patriotic poetry recitations, theme-based painting competitions, group songs, skits, and tricolor-themed attire presentations. These activities encouraged students to express their love for the nation through art and performance.
Faculty members organized an inspiring storytelling session highlighting the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters such as Bhagat Singh, Rani Laxmi Bai, and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. These stories deeply moved students and strengthened their sense of responsibility toward the nation.
A special digital pledge ceremony was conducted, where students and staff committed themselves to upholding democratic values, promoting social harmony, and contributing to national development. The program was also live-streamed to include alumni and parents.
The event concluded with a symbolic group formation representing the Indian National Flag, followed by a motivating address from the Principal, who emphasized that true patriotism lies in unity, discipline, and service to society.
Overall, the Ek Tiranga Program strengthened national values among students and reminded everyone that the spirit of patriotism must be reflected in daily actions, mutual respect, and dedication toward the progress of the country.
Aggarwal College plans to organize similar initiatives every year under the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” banner to keep the flame of patriotism alive among future generations.
